Some people prefer to enrol on one of the Club's regular sailing courses; others simply join the Club and rely on the help and guidance which members readily give. Safety is the most important consideration and newcomers quickly get to learn the best way to start, and are backed up by friendly and encouraging advice as appropriate.

Boats such as these can be picked up surprisingly cheaply -
A programme of 'class' and 'handicap' races is provided, chiefly on Sundays, throughout
the season, and the Club has several skilled helmsmen to compete against. Inter-

Youngsters love sailing! There is plenty to do; opportunities to crew for other members, and perhaps, helm the Club's boats given the right conditions and with necessary experience.
N.B It is regretted that Dogs are not allowed on to the Club Site.
